Polygamy
I feel the unspoken words inside of me,
The words spoken in audible silence
The words I voiced out long ago
To our lousy husband.
We were called in successive matrimony
Married in regressive economy
Day after day,
Darkness after darkness,
He beckoned upon one out of many
To satisfy his ageing desire
And his limp pipeline
That comes to life
Only at night.
Nocturnal oppression
Diurnal suppression
The head of the house
Only a figure-head
Power corrupts insidiously
Customary power corrupts absolutely!
I was the first to be called
To play the game on the large field
In the middle of the room
Gloominess as I had never experienced
Strucked me in persistence
I had to perform my duty
What I was married for
To revive the lifeless dangling tube
The obscene weapon of production
And absolute destruction.
After much servicing,
I had slippers-like parameciums
Dangling side to side,
Sucked to a point of no return,
Dropping in successive worship
To the ogling eyes of the wind
As I bent and rose in complete decay.
